A ceremony to recognize the hard work and achievements of the Jefferson County Sheriff's Department will take place on THURSDAY, DECEMBER 7 AT 10:30 a.m.in THE COUNTY COURTHOUSE at The County Commissioners' Meeting. Under Sheriff Boober's leadership, salaries have been increased, staffing levels have improved and retention of quality LE professionals is becoming possible. We are now in a much better position to handle the rapid growth we are experiencing. Please plan on coming out to show your appreciation and support. Nat Hughes, SSP Chief, will present a Recognition Award to the Sheriff and his outstanding Department. Several individual officers will also be recognized for outstanding performance and cooperation with Watch Groups. | ||
