On Friday, January 26th, The Shack, which is a teen club that meets at St. Andrew's Mountain Community Center at the intersection of Route 9 and Mission Road, is having a TEEN NIGHT OUT. The venue will be four bands for youth listening and dancing, and an open mic so they can perform, play or slam down poetry. The hours are from 7:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. Admission is $3.00 per youth. Snacks in the form of bottled water and chips will be sold for $1.00 each. There is a limit on the number of youth that the Mountain Community Center will hold, so first come, first in the door! | ||

St. Andrew's Episcopal Church is having a pancake supper on Shrove Tuesday, Fat Tuesday, the beginning of Mardi Gras, whatever you want to call it on February 20th from 4 to 7 pm. Youth and adults will be preparing and serving pancakes with warm maple syrup, sausage links, home made hot applesauce, coffee, juice and milk. This event will take place at the Mountain Community Center at the intersection of Route 9 and Mission Road. The proceeds will benefit The Shack Teen Club and future Teen Center this summer. We would like to suggest a donation of $5 per person, and would like to invite all law enforcement personnel to come as our guests so we can get to know you better. | ||
