The Quarterly Partnership Meeting for the Jefferson County Office of Homeland Security will be held on August 1, 2007 at The Anvil in Harpers Ferry at noon. Everyone will pay for their own lunch at the event. The speaker for this meeting will be Pamela Holstein Wallace, who is the new WV Region 3 Homeland Security Planner. Pam will be telling us about her new position and how it will affect Jefferson County and all of Region 3. | ||

The President of BRMVFC is going through some very rough times which started with an injury he received while responding to a grease fire at a home in our community. He has been hospitalized numerous times, and is unable to work due to the resulting medical problems. Would this community be willing to do a benefit for him? We are having a "FREE MOVIE NIGHT" at the MCC, on Friday the 10th 8:00 p.m. | ||
