HEAVY SNOW WARNING NOW IN EFFECT FROM 1 PM SAT 02/11/06 AFTERNOON TO 6 AM SUN 02/12/06

The community snow crew and equipment are ready to begin work after snow fall. Primary snow routes. Mt. Vista Trail and Antler Trail are plowed first with the remaining 15 secondary roads to follow.

Please observe the following during during this period

-If you become stuck, stranded or need non-emergency services call 304-724-1056 x308.

-Use 4 wheel drive while driving during snow and ice conditions.

-Do not exceed the posted 15mph speed limit

-Avoid spinning tires.

-If you are not able to enter the Community, Park in the designated emergency parking area. You MUST display your RVP vehicle placecard.

-Emergency parking is available in the river front park accross from the Community entrance. Do not block gates or roads.

-DO NOT park on any road within the Community. Cars parked on roads not displaying RVP vehicle placecards will be towed. RVP registered vehicle owners will be contacted by phone.

-Salt is dispensed by the RVP road crew on Mt Vista Trail at the Community Entrance

-DO NOT us Salt or Calcium Chloride on any road in the community

-#9 gravel is dispensed by the RVP road crew at intersections and on hills

-#9 gravel is available at the mailshed for residents use on RVP roads during snow and ice conditions.
