April 29 Topics
I have to place a vote for the surveillance discussion as the main topic. The website is fairly user friendly and I don't see the need for a lengthy overview. But, it might not be a bad idea to allow a short question/answer session for the folks that do have a few questions about the site. No need to go over the concept of the whole site and its mechanisms, but answering a few questions folks may have might help clear up any trepidation they have using it. I would guess allowing 15-20 minutes should do it.

I agree with Pfeifcat. I would like to know about home surveillance but would also like some info on the new website.
I vote for # 2...
Unfortunately, I can no longer attend on the 29th. Our community cleanup is on the same day. SORRY!
Electronic Home Surveillance 101
Meeting 04/29/06 - 12pm Basement of Community Center (next to fire station on mission rd)
Electronic Home Surveillance 101
If you have ever thought about it, but did not feel comfortable with the technology, or were not sure if it would work, or did not know where to start, or kinda know but would like to know more - this is the session for you.
Topics covered will be largely based on the interests and desires of the participants, and could include:
Network Cameras, wired vs wireless, stationary vs pan tilt zoom, could I do it myself? How much would it cost? BW vs Color, DVR's etc...
What to look for in a camera, how to decide what type, where should they be put them, I would like to see my cameras from work, what do I need, where should I start?
Any question about Electronic Home Surveillance you can ask at this session.
See you all there...
