Heartfelt Welcome to the New Members from our Law Enforcement Community!!!
It is with supreme delight that we welcome several new members from Law Enforcement to our site! Their presence, willingness to participate in community information exchange with us, and their open embracing of combined efforts of law enforcement and our community to keep us all safe are wonderfully welcome! We note with respect, admiration, and thankfulness the frequent presence of Sheriff Boober and his Deputies (and indeed all LE officers) who patrol our community, participate in our meetings, and communicate directly with the Shannondale Safety Patrol and Neighborhood Watch keeping information channels open, as well as responding quickly when situations arise! We in Shannondale thank you sincerely for being there for us, and for joining us on this website......we hope that you gain as much from joining us as we already have from your having joined! We sincerely hope that many other LE officers will also join with us in this endeavor!
Again, WELCOME!

Welcome CLEO and LE Professionals!
Thanks, Dave, for posting a warm welcome to our many new members.
It is, indeed, a milestone marker for the website/forum for the Chief Law Enforcement Officer (CLEO) and many of the County Deputies to join as members of this project, and to then actively utilize the site.
For those of you who have fond memories of the very successful and responsive Community Oriented Policing Services programs of not too long ago, this project will serve to replicate the most successful aspects of those programs.
Essentially, the Communities identify their most pressing problems and issues and form a partnership with LE to work toward resolution. Results of these joint efforts are analyzed and new strategies are developed as needed to work toward problem resolution. The crime-mapping capabilities of the site will facilitate this process.
A celebration complete with fireworks display is in order, but our zero budget requires that this be delayed to a later time. It is hoped that all members will continue to extend their utmost cooperation and courtesy to our LE members who work on a daily basis at a difficult, dangerous and fairly thankless profession. It is also hoped that LE will continue the fine level of communication and coordination with member Communities that will lead to significant crime reduction and resolution of quality-of-life issues.
WELCOME to ALL of our new members, and THANK YOU.
