This is an example of how 'Community Groups' work. This topic was created under 'Development'. However, upon creating it, I specified that it should be included within the River View Park Community Group. This post will be filed under Discussion/Development but will also appear on the River View Park homepage. If I had assigned this post a location - say within Blue Ridge Acres, it would also appeat on the BRA homepage.

A community group is not a forum topic, but a definition that ties together various types of information. That definition consists of a region (longitude and latitude), and group name. If a particular piece of information (post, report, etc.) has a geographic location that falls within a community groups region, it shows up on that communities home page. If a particular piece of information (post, report, etc.) has a name keyword that matches a community groups name, it shows up on that communities home page. The same piece of information can be assigned to any number of individual communities.
