INFORMATION FOR CURRENT MEMBERS:

Almost everything from the old site has been transferred successfully to the redesigned and updated website.

Community subscriptions did not transfer and must be manually enabled. Please select your community on the right side of your screen and then click on "subscribe" after the community page loads. You may "unsubscribe" at any time by following the same process. Please send us an email if your community isn't listed and you would like to add it.

Report notification settings also did not transfer. This preference setting is located under account at the top left of your screen (under the map) after logging-in. You may choose from several options as to when you wish to be notified of a new report posting. Remember to click on "submit" at the bottom of the account page to SAVE your changes. Preferences may be changed at any time to tailor the information you receive.

While in account, please check to ensure that your EMAIL ADDRESS IS CORRECT AND CURRENT or you will not receive any notifications or alerts. Click on "submit" to save any changes.

What's New

ALERTS (Emergency Notifications) are automatically enabled for current members. Non-members may manually sign up for ALERTS at the top center of the Home Page to receive Amber Alerts and Emergency Information for the Jefferson County area.

Jefferson County Sheriff's Office incident reports. Reports date back to 2001 and are searchable by time, date, location, offense type and day of the week. Anyone can send tips to the Sheriff's Office from the individual incident report pages.

Please note that it may take up to 15 seconds for the map interface to load incidents.

IE7 USERS may need to disable the 'County Outline' (under the advanced search options) to avoid an error. We're working on fixing this problem. It won't prevent you from using the map or search tools but it can be annoying.

DIAL-UP USERS can greatly reduce load times by disabling the search map when it is not being used. Just click on the "Hide Map" Tab and the server will remember your preference. You may reenable the search map at any time by clicking on the tab again.
