APX security high pressure sales pitch

On August 18th, 2007 dcwilson says:

A psuedo-representative of APX Security spent 3 hours today canvassing peoples homes in our neighborhood. Acting as an "agent" of the HOA, I advised him of the no soliciting sign (as at least 3 other neighbors had) and asked him to leave the neighborhood. He mentioned multiple times how BN was full of snobs and think they are too good. For what... I don't know.

APX, also known by other names, has a history of shoddy sales tactics. He refused to show an ID and had no sales brochures what so ever. Hummm...
He made a point of mentioning the fact I need braces and references to my lineage, among other junior high school snappy comebacks.

He refused to leave the area. Jefferson Co. Sheriffs were called and responded quickly with 2 cruisers. Thank you! They asked them to leave.

They did.

By the way, if anyone wants 'em, I've got pictures of the sales guy and of his buddy's Idaho tag who was waiting with the car back in the back of the neighborhood.
