Watch Jefferson County

The President of BRMVFC is going through some very rough times which started with an injury he received while responding to a grease fire at a home in our community. He has been hospitalized numerous times, and is unable to work due to the resulting medical problems.

Would this community be willing to do a benefit for him? We are having a "FREE MOVIE NIGHT" at the MCC, on Friday the 10th 8:00 p.m.

St. Andrew's has a large amount of candy bars, sodas, water and chips that could be sold for a donation, the Fire Dept. Auxiliary could have baked goods for donations, we will also have homemade pizza (cheese, pepperoni, mushroom & Hawaiian). Then we will put out a basket for folks to make their donations.

This gentleman has almost always been one of the responders when I have had to call 911 for medical transport for my Mother to Jefferson Hospital. He is a very devoted and caring member of BRMVFD and has given of his time and talents for us.

Now it's our turn to show him that we appreciate his dedication.
