Trooper Linn
As most of you have probably heard by now, we have lost a valuable member of our Law Enforcement community. Trooper Linn was killed in a vehicle accident while responding to back up a fellow officer involved in a foot pursuit in Kearneysville.
The accident scene, which is located on Rt. 9 West in between Wiltshire Rd and Jefferson Orchard, has already started to become decorated and while I was there noticed a lot of people slowing to look at the area. I did not want to post this as a detail of what happened, so if you must know read the paper.
I would however hope that our community would keep Trooper Linn's Family and co-workers in their prayers, as this is a terrible tragedy. In closing we would like to send OUR deepest condolences to his Family and fellow officers and thank Trooper Linn for his service and dedication to this wonderful community. God Bless.

Destruction of Memorial
I cannot believe that people would actually be so soul less and heartless to destroy a memorial dedicated to a Fallen Officer. The accident scene has been decorated twice and both times it has been trashed and vandalized by scum. Today I had too witness two Troopers clean up the mess and pickup broken crosses and flags. The vandals actually took the WV State and Fallen Officers Flags as if they were tokens of an accomplishment . I wonder how these a$$holes would feel if they had to drive by the accident scene of someone they knew or even loved and see it trashed and thrown all over a field.
