Colin J. Hitt was sworn in as a new Deputy with the Jefferson County Sheriff's Department this past week by Jennifer Maghan, Clerk of Jefferson County.
Deputy Hitt is a graduate of Martinsburg High School and a 2006 graduate of Shepherd University.
