Folks! The long-anticipated grand opening of the "substation" adjacent to the Blue Ridge Elementary School on Route 9 will occur on April 30, 2008 at 9 AM. The new facility, formally named the "Blue Ridge Public Safety Center (BRPSC) will serve as a local center for use by Law Enforcement to provide faster response times and local presence to the betterment of our citizens! A heartfelt round of applause to Sheriff Boober and his organization for placing this facility in our neighborhood!

Please mark your calendar and plan on attending. Many local dignitaries will be present in honor of this important step to providing us all even better service (see attached list).

Since this is occurring on a weekday (Wednesday), an additional Open House of the facility is being held on Saturday, May 3 from 12 Noon until 2 PM. Pass the word! Everyone is encouraged to attend one or both of these events.
