National Police Week - May 11 - 17, 2008

President John F. Kennedy designated May 15 as PEACE OFFICERS MEMORIAL DAY in 1962, and the week in which it falls as NATIONAL POLICE WEEK to commemorate the service and sacrifice of our Nation's law enforcement officers.
A number of events are planned at or near the National Law Enforcement Officers Memorial in Washington, DC, during the week. The following link provides details:
